So our little monkey turned 7 today! He got spoiled and the look of excitement in his eyes was priceless.
I can't believe it's been 7 years since I was lying in an Army hospital wondering what this little baby's fate
would be. I can still remember how it felt to have the love and support from my dear friend Jennifer and my
wonderful sister Nicole. Nicole actually got to cut the umbillical cord. She was a proud aunt that day. Thanks to my dear friend Jennifer, I have video of Josh's entrance into this world. Priceless! I was glad
that within minutes of Josh's birth I got a phone call from Peter who was in Iraq. It was then that we named Joshua David Conder. He's been a gift from heaven. Don't get me wrong he's as stubborn as his mother, but he is a special gift. All the boys are special, but Josh was given something extra-special to help him make the most out of his disabilities. At school each student in his class made a birthday train for him. Each train had a special picture and a message to him. I loved reading what his classmates wrote about him. One picture had him with canes, another in a wheelchair. All of them said he was awesome. One said for him not to be sad because of his wheelchair because she likes pushing him in it. I can tell he's loved. Here's to Josh, Posh, Monkey...
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! |
Happy as a clam! The only reason I bought this cake was because they had Puss and Humpty Alexander Dumpty on it. That's some expensive toys...the cake was disgusting. |
The birthday boy and his momma! Cute face! |
The love of money is the root of all evil. Can you see the evil on that adorable face! |
Josh's buddies from Shriner's hospital! |
