My first two sons were born in July; to be near the end of a pregnancy in the summer is no fun.
I vowed after the first two that I wasn't going to let anything "happen" in the month of October
between my husband (now ex) and I because I didn't want another July baby. :-)
The oldest is now 14 and following him very closely, by a year and two days, is the 13 year old.
I am so glad their birthdays are two days apart. It gives me one day to rest and prepare before the next
one is celebrated. Now that they are older I am glad they are close in age because they are each other's
greatest friends. Before I know it they will be getting jobs, driving cars, dating, and preparing for
their missions. Time does go fast.
I too celebrate my birthday this month and will be the big three - nine. My sister Nicole is throwing a party
for me with our extended family as guests. I look forward to it. Life is so short, we never know when our
time on this earth will be up. We never know if this year will be the last birthday we celebrate in this life.
Let us all celebrate life everyday by doing our best to love and care for those people we want
surrounding us in the eternities.
